Student Awards
A Conference Scientific Student Committee based on high quality and scientific merit of the student’s presentations have selected the best students for oral and poster presentations (the award consist of a certificate and 300 euro). The awards were announced at the SGA2015 closing ceremony.The evaluation committee was constituted by Alain Cheilletz, Jorge Relvas, Ryan Taylor, Jochen Kolb, Pedro Acosta-Gongora and Anna Vymazalová.

The best student oral presentations:
Rebecca Strachan: Gold mineralization during progressive deformation along the Ashanti Belt: Wassa Mine, Ghana. (SA-07)
Maria Teresa Bellver Baca: High Sr/Y magmas and porphyry-type deposits: chat is the role of timescales of magmatic processes? (S2-01)
Vikraman Selvaraja: Sulfur sources in the Glenburg Orogenic gold deposit (S4-02)

The best student poster presentations:
Didac Navarro-Ciurana: Geochemical evidences and heat-transport simulations for warm fluid involvement in the formation of Riopar MVT deposit (Prebetic Basin, SE Spain). (S3-P18)
Matthew Brzozowski: Variation in vein mineralogy and mineral chemistry around the Marathon Cu-PGE deposit, Ontario: insights into the development of an exploration tool. (S6-P17)
Student grants
Thank you to the SGA Foundation that received 105 applications asking for support for the Nancy meeting. 77 students were finally granted from 20 countries and two young scientists from economically disadvantageous countries.
